About Us

This is a unique collaboration between Pratt's. School of Design in Brooklyn, New York and Fourah Bay College's School of Engineering and Architecture in Freetown. Welcome to the Equatorial Living Lab.

Over four semesters, our diverse team explores sustainable, affordable housing solutions in equatorial climates. Emphasizing local materials and ecological practices, we strive to blend traditional insights with modern design. This project is a journey of learning and sharing, underpinned by our commitment to community-focused, open-source development.
